December 1st

| For us Texans it was hard to believe yesterday was the first of December. We ventured to Market days, dressed for the weather-shorts, tee shirts, and sandals. Little Miss enjoyed riding in her stroller and sipping on water. December Photo Project Day 1 |

Thanksgiving All Around
This year we had visitors for Thanksgiving! S,C&L came for the whole week! Despite spreading cold germs a fun time was had by all!
It was hard to get a good picture where both kiddos were still and looking.
Below are a few of my faves!
Thanks for coming to Texas ya'll! We had a wonderful time! Come back soon!!

All About Thanks
The Husber, A and I took a mini trip to San Antonio on Monday to hear H.S. bands compete for state. My car had been acting a little strange but sometimes you tend to ignore those things. Thankfully, we made it to S.A. and made it (barely) off the expressway and drive coast to the mechanics. He was even kind enough to drive us home (all we had to do was throw our things in the back of his truck.)!
We get a call the next day a few plugs need to be replaced and the ignition coils (I mean, those are minor, they just give power to the car(: He completes the task by the next afternoon.
When we went to pick up the car, there was a relatively old lady waiting on her car. She was suppose to bring her car back early the next morning. She asked since it was so early if she could just come in her robe. "I'd rather you not" (laugh from lady). "Someone will bring me home, right? I live just over there." "Yes, someone will bring you home." (lady leaves building).
Chat with mechanic for a few minutes, and pay. He says, "I'm surprised ya'll made it back." Yes, we were too! Then he says, "that lady was completely out of break fluid. She was using her emergency break to stop!"
Yes, it could always be worse!
Thankful that we have a God who protects us!
Here's a laugh to leave you with:
